Three people, including Giuliani, were taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Giuliani's son, Andrew, posted a message on social media expressing gratitude for the well-wishes and describing his father as tough.
This isn't the first time Giuliani has been in the spotlight recently. In June, Trump announced the appointment of Rudy Giuliani to an advisory council inside the Department of Homeland Security. However, Giuliani has also been embroiled in legal battles. He has pleaded not guilty to state criminal charges related to election subversion schemes in Georgia and Arizona.
