Nietzard's video was posted as a farewell statement before leaving her position as head of the Greens Youth organization. However, her tenure was not without controversy. Previously, she was criticized for wearing a sweater with the acronimo "ACAB" sul suo account Instagram privato. "ACAB" sta per "Tutti i poliziotti sono bastardi".
In the video, Nietzard accused Söder of living a life of leisure, eating and traveling without much work, and of often missing Bundesrat sessions or the Bavarian parliament.
The party leadership has announced a talk with Nietzard regarding her controversial statements. Green party leader Felix Banaszak found Nietzard's behavior unacceptable.
In a surprising turn of events, Nietzard later decided not to run again for the youth organization's federal congress in October.
