MLB Award Contenders for 2024: Shohei Ohtani, Aaron Judge, and Paul Skenes in the running for MVP, Cy Young, and Rookie of the Year awards
Major League Baseball's 2024 honors period is in full swing, and on Monday night, MLB along with the Baseball Writers Association of America presented the top three nominees for each of the four primary awards. These include Rookie of the Year, Manager of the Year, Cy Young, and Most Valuable Player. The laureates will be unveiled in the coming days.
The following is the awards disclosure plan (the winners will be presented during a live MLB Network telecast each day):

These accolades are limited to the regular season. BBWAA members cast their ballots following the regular season and prior to the playoffs, thereby excluding any October occurrences from the awards. There are 30 voters per award (two per MLB city in that league).
Monday's announcement disclosed the top three nominees for each award, although it's more like the top three vote-getters. No further voting process is conducted just for the three finalists. The three nominees took the top spots in the voting, regardless of the sequence. Below are MLB's 2024 awards nominees, arranged in alphabetical order.
