Manifestazione di massa a Gaza verso il Festival di Venezia

The ongoing violence in Gaza is not limited to the region, as Italy and Europe are implicated through arms supplies, economic agreements, and diplomatic support. In the West Bank, apartheid and settler violence continue unabated.
One notable absence from the festival was Gal Gadot, one of the stars of "In the Hand of Dante," who was confirmed not to be attending the Venice Film Festival.
The Venice Film Festival has always been a place for open discussion and addressing pressing societal and global issues, according to its organizers. However, the lack of public statements condemning Israel's actions has led some to question the festival's commitment to promoting peace and justice. The protests at the Venice Film Festival are a testament to the growing international call for action to end the conflict in Gaza and Palestine.
