Meanwhile, in the nearby town of Obertshausen, a unique initiative called "Home Shopping" has been making waves. This event, which took place from September 9th to 14th, 20XX, aims to strengthen local businesses and services. The "Home Shopping" action was supported by the city marketing association, Sparda-Bank Hessen, and other sponsors.
Mayor Manuel Friedrich emphasized that "Home Shopping" in Obertshausen has become a firmly established event, viewed as a sign for the vitality of local trade. This year, Sparda-Bank Hessen donated 2,000 euros to the initiative, a contribution that Holger Bischoff, chairman of the Obertshausen City Marketing Association, expressed gratitude for.
The donation will help secure the organization and implementation of "Home Shopping" in Obertshausen. The responsible parties in Obertshausen plan to continue this initiative next year, with the "Home Shopping" week including the networking event "Blue Monday" as a further highlight.
Sparda-Bank Hessen, a regional cooperative bank, has a broad social commitment and focuses on funding in various sectors. In 2023, they distributed around 1.6 million euros to over 600 projects in various areas such as education, culture, and environmental protection. They also supported 30 club projects in the year referenced, with each project receiving 3,000 euros in funding.
The "Home Shopping" initiative is not alone in its endeavour. Chambers of industry and commerce throughout Germany have shown their support for such local initiatives. As a bank aware of the importance of togetherness, especially in smaller towns and communities, Sparda-Bank Hessen's support is viewed as a valuable contribution to achieving the goal of continuing "Home Shopping" in Obertshausen.
