Educast del Pakistan si allea con Health 24 Hakkim dell'Oman per l'introduzione di una piattaforma di turismo medico

Pakistan's digital health network, Educast, has signed a significant agreement with Oman's Health 24 Hakkim. This partnership aims to provide more affordable treatment options for patients from the Gulf state through tele-medicine and remote monitoring.

The agreement was inked during a visit of a Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) delegation to Muscat. Sheikh Nadeem Magon, Chairman of the Pakistan Oman Business Council, hailed the deal as a reflection of efforts to diversify and deepen trade and investment links between the two nations.

Educast, committed to its work in the telemedicine and remote monitoring field, has managed over 150,000 COVID-19 positive patients during home isolation monitoring. The platform has been instrumental in bridging the healthcare access gap.

Ahmed Subhani, the director of Health 24 Hakkim, expressed that the deal opens a new business opportunity for Pakistan's medical sector. He highlighted that Educast's competitive pricing and high-quality medical services can attract Omani and expat patients seeking affordable treatment options.

In addition to Oman, Educast has partnered with organisations in Sudan, Afghanistan, and Yemen. The countries that have collaborated with the Pakistani health network for telemedicine and remote monitoring include Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates.

Under the deal, Educast, which operates in various countries, will manage patients referred by Health 24 Hakkim. The CEO of Educast, Abdullah Butt, stated that Educast has been a game-changer in providing telemedicine services to fragile countries.

Mian Saqib Fayyaz Magon, Senior Vice President of FPCCI, called the venture a "groundbreaking medical tourism platform" that would strengthen bilateral ties. He further emphasised that this collaboration not only offers lower-cost treatment but also opportunities for Omani patients to explore Pakistan's cultural and natural attractions.

The collaboration between Educast and Health 24 Hakkim is expected to benefit patients and contribute to the growth of Pakistan's healthcare industry. Medical tourism firms like Health 24 Hakkim arrange travel and treatment for clients abroad, combining health care with in-country support. This partnership is set to revolutionise the medical tourism landscape, offering affordable and quality healthcare services to patients from Oman and beyond.
